They are, and we're glad to have them around. They're good guys, and they suit the family. We're glad to have them around.

Good. I would say you don't know how much that means to me but of anyone, you would understand. They need some family down there.

Probably not! Though, mine sadly would. Well, the literal road trip part and not the winding up in Vegas kind of kidnapping.

Biggest thing that will start a fight? Is that they think we eloped. I suspect the day I get married will be a big deal and a huge wedding.

[And he's never really thought about that before. Not until now.]

You're not wrong. I suspect mine would be very similar. You know, I thought myself lucky that I even made it this far in the first place.

[Truth be told, she wasn't like the other girls who dreamt about their wedding days and planned out to the T. Hell, she'd thought she was lucky to make it this far in life. Still, with her family, she was pretty sure there was no other way but with a big wedding. Their family in of itself was large and they would naturally have to invite others from the community.]

One day I will. One day. Maybe. :) You know, the memories of racing in Vegas keep running through my mind. Don and the others were impressed. And proud.

[ And he's still not entirely sure they hadn't. Or that they haven't pushed for him to marry, but he knows they know he hasn't found the right person. Yet. ]

They should be. You did amazing. You kicked serious ass, and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't track you down to try and take you on again.

Well, I knew why Aust and Blake didn't follow us but I was surprised when one of yours didn't follow us. Especially Vince.

[The guys wanted her happy but they also wanted it to be with someone who would treat her with respect and the guys that she'd been around in the past hadn't fit in those perimeters. Truth be told, it seemed that all of them (so far) approved of Dom. And whatever it turned into.]

I really hope they do. I'd love to make money off their asses.

You know, maybe they did and won't admit they couldn't find out what hotel we were in.

Why do you think your family didn't?

We did go to a rather fancy hotel.

[Which made her grin as she thought about that hotel and the time they spent together.]

They probably thought I'd drive around the city or get roped into some sort of race. I'm pretty sure if you asked them now after we were gone for those couple of days, they would definitely have followed!

No one would expect to find me there.

[ And it's part of why he liked it. Because it was them. Not anything else but them. ]

Bet they called every racer they knew that could be in the area. Just to see if they'd seen us. So they might have gotten reports.

Same. We'll have to go back one day.

[Because she wanted any and all excuses to spend more time with him. And if it meant they could kick some racing ass in Las Vegas, all the better.]

Most definitely. I would have no doubt at all. They have eyes everywhere!
